A PVC lateral line is routed around the rootball, keeping the pipe clear of the root mass itself. Schedule 40 PVC fittings connect the lateral line to a half-inch ultraviolet-resistant PVC flexible hose that rises to finish grade at twelve inches. A half-inch schedule 80 gray male adapter connects to the bubbler head. Nine-gauge tubing stakes secure the flexible hose assembly in place.
