A three-foot-six-inch high guardrail assembly mounts to cast-in-place concrete paving with a block-out provided for the post base. The vertical supports consist of three-by-one-inch type 304 stainless steel guardrail posts featuring a directional brushed finish. Intermediate rails utilize one-quarter-inch diameter type 316 stainless steel tension cables with stainless steel ball end fittings, tensioned to fifty pounds each. A two-by-six-inch Ipe wood top rail parallels the ramp slope and attaches to the top of the stainless steel post.
