The assembly connects steel fence rails to a central vertical fence post using typical 2-by-2-by-3/16-inch steel angles with a length of zero feet three inches welded to the post. A three-sixteenth-inch cap plate covers the top of the connection, flanked by a one-quarter-inch cap plate across the post top with a maximum one-half-inch clearance. The fence rails feature weep holes per architectural specifications and are secured with continuous three-sixteenth-inch fillet welds having one-inch minimum lengths. A vertical boundary line sits on the left margin of the drawing.
