Three conditions for a concrete slab on metal deck terminating at a perimeter edge beam. Each condition incorporates a continuous twelve-gauge metal edge form secured with three-quarter-inch diameter field plug welds spaced at twelve inches on center. Continuous number four reinforcing bars run parallel to the edge, supplemented by transverse number three bars spaced at twelve inches on center. The first condition utilizes a one-inch wide fourteen-gauge strap at thirty-six inches maximum spacing. The second condition introduces three-inch by fourteen-gauge Z-clips welded to both the edge form and the edge beam at twenty-four inches on center. The third condition features an angle section connected to the supporting beam with fillet welds and field plug welds.
