Strip wires one-half inch from the ends. Apply a spring connector in a clockwise direction. Insert the wire splice to the bottom of the gel-filled tube, ensuring the connector passes past the locking fingers and is seated at the bottom. Position the wires in the wire channels and close the insulator tube cover. Maximum wire sizes per connector are three number fourteen or two number twelve wires.
APPLY SCOTCHLOK Y SPRING CONNECTOR IN A CLOCKWISE DIRECTION. STEP 2: INSERT SPLICE TO BOTTOM OF GEL-FILLED TUBE.
