A tree protection assembly is established around the crown dripline with high-density orange polyethylene fencing supported by two-inch by six-foot steel posts spaced at eight feet on center. Laminated plastic signs measuring eight and a half by eleven inches are attached and spaced every fifty feet along the fence. An eight to twelve-inch thick layer of mulch is placed on the maintenance road, with a five-inch thick layer applied inside the protected area while maintaining the existing grade. Protective fencing restricts equipment operation and requires approved arborists for any pruning.
