An extruded mill finish aluminum single component stair nosing with non-slip coating is recessed into the exterior concrete stair tread. The stair tread features a rounded leading edge with a one-half inch radius and a one-eighth inch grout joint. Reinforcement includes a number four nosing bar continuing into the wall beyond, supplemented by number four bars spaced at sixteen inches on center. The concrete riser depth is six inches typical, with a one and one-half inch projection at the tread edge. All steps receive the specified exterior dark gray aluminum nosing installed per manufacturer specifications.
