An irrigation controller is mounted to the building wall inside a protective stainless steel enclosure positioned sixty inches above the exterior building slab. A one hundred twenty-volt alternating current non-switched power supply conduit feeds into a junction box twelve inches minimum above the slab. A two-and-one-half-inch polyvinyl chloride conduit routes control wires down the wall through a sweep elbow into direct burial lines running to the valves below finish grade.
