Concrete paving slab featuring a three-sixteenths inch sawcut control joint at the surface. Internal load transfer is provided by a dowel basket and speed dowel positioned within the slab. Steel reinforcement is embedded within the concrete above an aggregate base layer and compacted subgrade.
