The concrete core is reinforced with number four rebar at twelve inches on center typically, maintaining two inches of clear cover from all edges. The wall rests on a compacted Caltrans Class 2 aggregate base subgrade over a compacted subgrade. Exposed concrete edges include a one-half-inch radius typically. Expansion joints are provided at concrete paving, and surrounding materials vary per the landscape layout plan.
