A pop-up rotor sprinkler is installed flush with the finish grade and connected to a PVC schedule 40 lateral line through a swing joint assembly. The burial depth ranges from eight to fourteen inches, with the sprinkler positioned a maximum of three inches clear of hardscape surfaces. The swing joint assembly features a ten-inch lay length with a swing by male iron pipe thread connecting to the lateral line fitting, using a PVC schedule 40 socket by socket by threaded tee or ell. The swing joint arm is installed at an angle between thirty and forty-five degrees relative to the lateral pipe using a male thread model.
