A stone slab seat rests on a layer of compacted base aggregate over a compacted subgrade, positioned adjacent to concrete paving and a planted slope. The four-foot-wide stone slab features a thickness of approximately one foot two inches and ties into a mulched planting soil bed. Crushed rock fills the interface between the concrete paving and the stone seat base, with finish grades varying per civil and landscape plans.
