A quick-coupling valve is housed within a ten-inch round box with a locking cover, extended as necessary to meet finish grade. The valve connects to a series of one-inch Schedule 80 PVC nipples, a street ninety, a threaded tee ninety, and a ninety-degree elbow, tying into a PVC mainline sized per plan. The box sits on brick supports over a six-inch depth backfill box filled with three-eighths-inch washed rock. A three-foot steel farm fence post with three stainless steel clamps stabilizes the vertical riser pipe against movement. All components are embedded within compacted subgrade.
