A three-inch perforated drain pipe with a filter sock is set in a trench measuring six inches wide and one foot deep. The trench is filled with one-quarter-inch crushed gravel wrapped in filter fabric. The surrounding field slopes at one and one-half percent, and the grade conforms to existing conditions at existing redwood trees.
