A five-foot glass wind screen is anchored into a ten-inch square concrete pedestal that extends through the surrounding landscaping layers. The assembly sits above a structural slab, which receives rigid insulation and a drainage mat detailed on architectural and structural drawings. Planting soil and mulch finish the grade on either side of the pedestal base.
