A six-inch or ten-inch diameter drip box rests upon a three to four-inch thick layer of washed gravel bed, set two inches above the finished grade of the shrub area. The box contains typical one-half-inch drip tubing, compression tees, adapters, couplings, and a removable flush cap with coiled drip tubing. A three-quarter-inch schedule 80 nipple connects to the PVC lateral line below. The gravel bed is restricted from extending inside the box.
