A 3-inch flanged hydrometer connects inline with schedule 80 PVC piping using threaded adapters and matching flanged fittings on both sides. The entire assembly rests on a bed of 3 inches of compacted gravel and 6-inch concrete masonry unit blocks, enclosed by a standard 18-inch deep valve box with an extension up to the finish grade. System wires route in conduit with 30 inches of coiled wire and waterproof connections to the flow sensor cable.
