A six-inch wide concrete wall set into undisturbed soil or compacted fill serves as landscape edging. The wall features three continuous number four horizontal reinforcing bars and number four vertical reinforcing bars spaced at twenty-four inches on center. A continuous three-quarter-inch chamfer is applied to both top sides of the wall. The finish grade of the landscape is held down one inch from the bottom of the chamfer, while the finish grade of the adjacent area sits lower. All faces of the wall receive a smooth architectural finish.
