Tree rootball guying installation with rootball placed on native subgrade and surrounded by amended backfill mix. Rootball protection mesh and corrosion-resistant anchor cables secure the tree, connected to locking earth anchors driven into the subgrade and tensioned with ratcheting cable tighteners. A four-inch minimum height watering berm is formed twelve inches wider than the rootball diameter. A mulch layer is applied over the top, maintaining a six-inch clearance from the base of the tree trunk.
