Concrete unit pavers are installed on a one-inch minimum sand setting bed over a reinforced concrete slab. The slab bears on a compacted aggregate base and subgrade, coordinated with civil drawings. At the perimeter, the pavers meet a cast-in-place concrete seatwall with a one-quarter inch joint.
