This interior wall detail shows a WPC-1 wood-plastic composite wall panel intersecting with a door frame as scheduled. A continuous bead of silicone sealant over a backer rod is applied to each side at the frame interface. Blocking is installed as required behind the gypsum board and framing, finished with a typical metal corner bead and a vapor retarder where indicated. The door frame accommodates a scheduled door and hardware assembly.
