Cross-laminated timber panels meet at a vertical joint with a maximum gap of one-eighth inch, accommodating variable panel orientations. A Simpson CMSTC16 strap spans the panel joint and is secured with zero-point-one-four-eight-inch by two-and-a-half-inch nails spaced at three inches on center on each side.
