A six-inch wide concrete header acts as a mow curb and transitions to a synthetic turf system over compacted subgrade. A composite wood nailer is anchored alongside the curb with continuous number four rebar and construction nails spaced twenty-four inches on center, secured using epoxy adhesive. An impermeable liner laps up the side of the concrete curb and composite wood nailer to contain the base material.
