An exterior door sill rests on a continuous bed of sealant, sloped to the exterior and integrated with the jamb seal over insulated framing. Metal drip flashing is embedded in the threshold sealant at the exterior face. Below the flashing, a two-piece counterflashing extends down over the roofing membrane and termination bar. A wall-mounted step ladder to the roof below is anchored through the assembly, with all fasteners sealed through the roof membrane.
