A three-quarter-inch galvanized street ell connects to the main line, followed by a three-quarter-inch galvanized nipple with a four-inch minimum length. A three-quarter-inch brass drain valve with a slotted top attaches to the nipple, terminating in a three-quarter-inch Marlex street ell. A two-inch Schedule 40 PVC pipe is notched to fit over and protect the drain valve.
