An irrigation controller in a lockable metal cabinet is secured to the wall per manufacturer instructions at an approximate typical height of five feet above finished grade, or as approved by the owner's representative. A grounded 110-volt service connects to the cabinet with all exposed wire installed in rigid galvanized steel conduit per code requirements and sized for future additional wire. The conduit adapts to Schedule 40 PVC conduit below the finished grade, routing low-voltage common and control wires into the ground at a depth of one foot six inches. An irrigation controller and weather sensor are included where applicable per the irrigation plan, and installation must be coordinated with the owner's representative regarding location, wire routing, and electrical service connection.
