Novawood boards attach over one and one-half inch wood blocking using a concealed clip system and three hundred sixteenth grade stainless steel wood screws. Three-eighths inch diameter Hilti KB-TZ stainless steel expansion anchors with two-inch embedment fasten the blocking to the concrete seatwall below. All visible edges feature a one-half inch mitre, and countersunk holes receive wood plugs with water-resistant glue. Expansion joints in the wall occur per detail ten, and all non-staining hardware is coordinated with the materials schedule.
