This wall section details the mounting of a silvered flat glass mirror onto a gypsum board partition configured per plan. The assembly incorporates wood blocking as needed within the stud cavity, secured behind a layer of plywood backing. An aluminum channel spacer and an aluminum top J-channel are fastened through the gypsum board and plywood to the backing using appropriate fasteners. The mirror is adhered to the plywood backing using mirror mastic, with requirements to confirm substrate compatibility and follow execution and preparation guidelines specified in part three.
