A steel pipe with a maximum diameter of six inches penetrates a partition as specified per plan. Firestopping sealant is applied within the annular space and finished flush with the surface of the wall at a minimum thickness of five-eighths of an inch. A minimum one-half-inch sealant bead is placed at the point of contact between the pipe and the wall assembly.
