Thrust blocks of one cubic foot of portland cement concrete bear against undisturbed soil at forty-five degree and ninety-degree elbows and tees in mainline piping. Plastic fittings are wrapped with black pipe tape prior to concrete placement. All concrete mix conforms to standard specification 420-C-2000.
