Concrete pavers are laid over a one-inch bedding sand layer supported by a four-inch Class II base compacted to ninety-five percent relative density. The base rests upon an engineered fill subgrade. An adjacent concrete pavement transitions flush to the paver assembly, matching elevations at the joint.
