A PVC pipe with a maximum diameter of two inches penetrates a one or two-hour fire-rated wall assembly configured per plan and the interior partition schedule. An optional four-inch minimum diameter steel sleeve accommodates the penetration. Firestopping sealant is applied within the annulus and finished flush with each end of the sleeve at a depth of five-eighths of an inch for a one-hour fire rating.
