An underground flow sensor and master valve installed within valve boxes featuring extensions and standard brick supports over a six-inch deep three-quarter-inch pea gravel sump wrapped in filter fabric. The flow sensor body is plumbed with upstream and downstream fittings or reducing couplings placed at distances equal to ten times and five times the pipe diameter respectively. Waterproof connections join the sensor cable to the controller wiring while maintaining proper polarity and allowing two feet of extra cable length. The flow sensor must be installed with its insert positioned vertically and its tee body horizontally with the sensor cable run in a one-inch PVC conduit to the controller enclosure.
