Ground cover plants are installed in a triangular pattern on center with dimension Y equal to eighty-six percent of dimension X as noted on plans. One-gallon plant material is set into prepared beds over native soil tilled to a depth of 4 inches. Three cubic yards of nitrolized organic amendment are added at a rate of 20 pounds per 1,000 square feet and incorporated into the upper 2 inches of soil. Dacthal or Surflan pre-emergent herbicide is applied to all ground cover at the manufacturer recommended rate.
