A single timber bench seat measuring one foot six inches wide by one foot two inches high is supported on bench spacers to allow drainage above a cast-in-place concrete base slab. The concrete base slab is reinforced with number four rebar at fifteen inches on center top and bottom each way, with thickness coordinated with the structural engineer. The concrete base rests on a class two aggregate base over compacted subgrade and existing soil, adjacent to granitecreet paving and existing groundcover.
