This landscape detail shows a decomposed granite paving assembly bounded by a flush concrete mow curb. The subgrade is prepared per civil engineering specifications and topped with a four-inch layer of Class 2 road base compacted to ninety-five percent. A layer of Mirafi 140N geotextile or approved equal separates the road base from the surface course. The four-inch decomposed granite gravel surface is installed in two two-inch lifts with a stabilizer applied per specifications.
