An air vacuum relief valve connects to a PVC tee and PVC piping via a compression adapter and PVC riser. The valve and piping are enclosed within a ten-inch round valve box set over a three-quarter-inch diameter gravel sump containing one cubic foot of gravel. Landscape filter fabric surrounds the gravel bed, which rests on subgrade with three required bricks supporting the assembly. The surrounding area is backfilled with mulch up to the finish grade.
