An interior wall jamb connection joins wood-plastic composite wall panel WPC-1 to a scheduled door frame. Blocking as required occurs behind framing, along with a vapor retarder as occurs and an interior wall finish referenced to the room finish schedule. A continuous bead of silicone sealant over a backer rod is applied to each side of the frame typically, and a metal corner bead is installed at the exterior edge.
