A cobble band of three feet in width runs adjacent to standard concrete paving, featuring a one-inch vertical offset from the finished surface grade. The assembly sets over compacted sub-base courses, graded soils, and geotextile layers with a side slope transition graded at one to one. Finished surface FS and finished grade FG elevation markers establish the vertical control points across the paved transition.
