An irrigation controller is securely fastened to a wall above finish grade with a metal electrical junction box and surge suppressor attached underneath. A threaded connector links the bottom of the controller to a rigid steel conduit running down the wall and turning outward via a sweep elbow with a twelve-inch minimum radius. Nearby, a sprinkler head is installed adjacent to a concrete slab with its top set one inch minimum above finish grade.
