This connection details a panel roof tying into a wall using a C12 ledger or chord reinforced with quarter-inch plates on each side and fastened with three three-quarter-inch diameter machine bolts. Two three-quarter-inch diameter by six-inch nail-attached structural anchors spaced at six inches on center center on the wall tie. Steel joists span from the ledger with an extra layer of felt over the steel strap. A Simpson MST72 strap fastens across the first and second joists off the wall using thirty-four sixteen-penny by two-and-a-half-inch nails each side of the joist, reducing to an MST27 strap across the remaining joists fastened with fifteen sixteen-penny by two-and-a-half-inch nails each side.
