An existing tree is protected during construction by a six-foot tall chain link construction fence staked at four feet on center. The fence is located at two-thirds the distance of the canopy drip line in a complete circle around the tree above finished grade. Tree preservation notes dictate fencing requirements, prohibition of grading, storage, and vehicle traffic within the dripline, and mandate certified arborist supervision for root pruning and branch pruning.
