Groundcover is installed with the root flare at finish grade over a prepared sub-grade and existing slope. Filter fabric is laid beneath the planting layers to stabilize the soil. A layer of plant mix supports the vegetation, topped with mulch while maintaining a three-inch clearance from the plant stem.
