A raised concrete planter rests on a drain course and cast-in-place concrete paving base with a slope of 1.5 percent toward a drainage trench. The assembly is bounded by precast concrete elements and stainless steel planter walls anchored by stainless steel fins welded to the planter and secured with threaded dowels embedded into the concrete. The interior holds a drainage layer of pedestals, drain course aggregate, planting soil, and a mulch top layer. Surrounding grade finishes with cast-in-place concrete paving.
