An irrigation air and vacuum relief valve connects to a dripline or blank tubing via a female pipe thread tee inside a 6-inch round valve box. The assembly rests on three brick supports over a 6-inch deep pea gravel sump below finished grade. The air and vacuum relief valve must be installed at a height not lower than the dripline laterals.
