A pop-up rotor head is set flush with the finish grade and stabilized with one cubic foot of gravel. A three-quarter-inch pre-manufactured swing joint assembly connects the head to a lateral line fitting with a threaded outlet on the lateral piping sized per plan. The swing pipe slopes toward the lateral pipe to allow complete drainage. The top of the head aligns flush with the surrounding turf.
