An acrylic sport surface finishes the top of a concrete slab with a turned down edge. A tool edge creates a clean joint separation between the athletic court and the adjacent concrete paving. Reinforcing steel is placed within the concrete slab per civil engineering requirements. The concrete paving rests on a prepared sub-base, with finishes specified in the hardscape finish schedule.
