Plant root balls and boulders are set within compacted subgrade and surrounded by backfill per specifications, finished with a three-inch layer of bark mulch. At the concrete paving condition, a twenty-four-inch deep linear plastic root barrier extends for twenty linear feet per tree and maintains a one-inch clearance from the top of paving. At the curb condition, the twenty-four-inch deep linear plastic root barrier overlaps the curb by six inches, adjacent to curb and asphaltic concrete pavement per civil drawings.
