A ten-inch round valve box with a lock bolt sits below finish grade over a twelve-inch minimum size washed aggregate sump. A two-inch PVC schedule forty sleeve, notched over the valve, encloses a three-quarter-inch Ford BI1333 ball valve and a three-quarter-inch PVC schedule eighty nipple. The assembly connects to a PVC schedule eighty tee and main line through a three-quarter-inch PVC schedule eighty elbow, terminating in a three-quarter-inch Marlex street elbow over six inches of clean gravel. A ninety-six-L Weathermatic locking valve cap is permanently attached to the sleeve with the top of the marker positioned four to six inches below grade. All PVC nipples are schedule eighty, and a valve key is provided to the owner.
