A typical one rack mounting unit fiber optic splicing and patching enclosure houses splice trays in the rear compartment and modular SC connector plates on the front. The fiber optic connector plate accommodates a twelve strand configuration with six duplex SC connectors shown. The housing is designed for standard rack mounting installations in telecommunication spaces.
